Story of Hope

Hello, I am a Charanjit kaur w/o Major singh, 50 years old and belong to Lopon village in samrala tehsil, Ludhiana District of Punjab state. I heard an announcement at Gurudwara sahib that our NRI brother MR.KEWAL SINGH are going to organize a free medical camp at my village with the help of world cancer care charitable society on 8 march 2019. I also visited the camp for general check-up. I never felt that I am suffering from any kind of medical disease but it is true sometime I feel flight pain in my left breast and most of the time I ignored that pain. The leaflets regarding symptoms of cancer were distributed there and I read the leaflets and then I decided to discuss my problem with doctors. All Doctor’s and nursing staff was so co-operative and they advised me for mammography test. This test was done on the spot free of cost at the camp site. After two weeks, I received my report which was positive. On the next day, I received a phone call from ‘world cancer office’ and she advised me another test for example ‘FNAC’ for the confirmatory test then I went to Oswal cancer hospital in Ludhiana and tested FNAC and it was confirmed that I am suffering from Breast cancer. I discussed my problem with many people they suggested me to take a treatment from PGI hospital in Chandigarh. I was operated on 18 April 2019 and after 24 days my chemotherapy treatment are started and three chemo rounds completed and after one chemo round I feel very weakness, sometimes feel nausea, vomiting but I keep proper care of my diet like I intake daily fruits, Juice, vegetables, milky products and now I’m still very healthy. I hope I stay healthy to my last breath. this is possible only I attended a world cancer care charitable society camp at my village. I really thankful to all world cancer team who show me a right path about my illness and treatment and if I can help other people through my story that would make me very happy and very satisfied.
