My Name is Rupinder kaur w/o Amarjit singh. I am 57 years old and I belong to city Amritsar. I was suffering from right side breast pain and felt a small gland on it. I talked to my family members but they did not take it seriously. I went to the various doctors and discuss my problem. He gave me some medicine but I had no felt relief. Luckily one day, I was watching television and heard an advertisement of the world cancer care charitable society organising a free medical camp near my town. I visited this camp and checked up from the doctor and discussed my problem with her. Firstly she assessed my breast with physical examination then she advised me mammography test which was available in the camp site at free of cost. It was done. After a few days I collect my mammography report which was positive. I was completely scared. After seeing my report, I have no any idea what I do. I could not sleep at night, my whole family was very upset. Then next day I received a phone call from the cancer care charitable society office that your report is positive and she suggested me a further test that was FNAC .The test was done and confirmed that I was suffering from this serious cancer disease in my right breast. Then I telephoned the world cancer care office again and I consulted with them to cure my illness. She asked me to get my treatment from SRI Guru Ram Das Hospital and at the same time informed that the Punjab Government gets 1-1.5lakh amount to cancer sufferers which will cost less for the patient. I got my treatment right there. By now, my six chemo cycles are over and radiation therapy is almost done.did I cannot pay the services of world cancer care which saved my life and also my family. So I praised Mr.kulwant singh Dhaliwal and his world cancer care team and our NRI who aware the people about their health by arranging this type of camps time to time. I also advice the people to take the maximum benefit of world cancer care free check-up camps.
