Story of Hope
Good Morning. I am AMAR SINGH s/o LAKSHMAN SINGH and my age is 72 year old. I belong to Mohali. I had been suffering from urine problem for a long time period but I am not discussed this problem to my family member. I had checked-up, consulted to many doctors. They gave medicine and I felt relived for some time but after a short time this problem started again. One day I read in a newspaper about the world cancer care charitable society organizing a free medical camp which was arranged nearby village on 07 January 2018 with the help of AMRIT FOUNDATION GROUP.I visited this camp and checked up from a doctor. He advised me PSA test which was at free of cost in this camp. I checked up in the camp. After 20 days I got my report and phone call from the world cancer care office that my PSA level has increased. She also suggested me a further test such as biopsy and after the result I came to know that I was suffering from a serious cancer disease. Worried I rushed to concerned doctor in P.GI Hospital. When I was diagnosed with prostate cancer my PSA level was 39 and my age 72 years and I was physically weak also. So my doctor suggested me to take regular medicine not to operate. I acted upon the doctor’s advice. I started to take regular medicine and hormone injections according to the doctor prescription. By June 2018, just two–and-a half months after the procedure, my PSA level had gone down from 3.6 to 0.02. In October, I visited my hospital again for follow up, then my PSA had remained at 0.02 and I was taken off the hormone injections. Now I feel much better. I have no urine problem. I am able to do my treatment. I had no side effects. I advise the people to arrange this type of cancer camp maximum and also advise to take proper benefits the free medical services as world cancer care. Thanks a lot
