MY name is Rajni w/o Sukhdev singh and I am 50 years old. My Breast was discharged from so long time. I went to various doctors and taken a lots of medicines but there was no any improvement in my breast. I am suffering from this disease from long time period. Doctor advised me for costly tests but we don’t have money for these test. I belong to a very typical middle class family, my husband is a labourer. Then I read an article from newspaper about a world cancer care charitable society organizing a free medical camp at village kapur city Jalandhar on 11 March 2018 which is 85 km away from my house. I visited that camp and I discussed my problem and situation to the camp doctors and they deal with me very politely. They did my all required test as a free of cost like mammography test. After 2 weeks my reports were positive. Then I received a one phone call from cancer care charitable society and she told me FNAC test for whether the lump is cancer and it was confirmed that I was suffering from the breast cancer. When we first heard the news I was taken aback. We were upset and I cried because of the camp staff told me about the government scheme that government provide 1-1.5lakh money for treatment of cancer patients. Then I have taken treatment from ‘Shri Guru Ram Das Hospital ‘Amritsar under the government scheme. Doctor removed my breast now my condition is well. I felt fine after surgery. Now, I eat vegetables, bean curd, grains and nuts every day, and maintain a healthy lifestyle. For me, a simple approach is better. I’m healthier now than ever before. A Lots of regards to this society who advised me for my good health and safe my life.
